Daily Breeze Building R.I.P.

staysouthbay:

It saddens me to see this building and others like it in the South Bay area being demolished instead of saved & used as fuctional pieces of our cities heritage.

We’ve all seen countless other cities and countries that cherish all their historical & architectural significant buildings. Why can’t we do the same?

How can we allow this to continue? Does it happen so gradually that most of us don’t even pay attention anymore. Can we just stop & sit for a moment & really see the beauty in your own city, streets and buildings.

The building was built during the late 50’s early 60’s, it began use in ‘61 but officially opened in ‘65. It was used & well loved until 5 years ago, wow what an amazing work environment & the new owners kept the grounds in great condition.

YES ITS BEING DEMOLISHED & I HATE THAT I CAN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

to see the workrooms, details, printing areas
